Should Junk Food be Banned From School?

No I don’t think that junk food should be banned from school because we all need some fat and salt in our body to keep us alive. If it was gone then people wouldn’t get all the fat and salt that they need in there body. The school needs junk food because people like to eat junk food after their meal. If there was ony healthy food people wouldn't get as much and then they won't like to eat the school lunches. But they should still get some healthy food.

Favorite food

My favorite food is pizza because I love the taste. There is so many kind but my my favorite is peperoni and sausage. My favorite brand is Jacks. The crust is so good and the whole thing is so good. A lot of restaurants don't make pizza that aren't very good. They are all to cold.

Response to Mary Poppins

             What would you do if it was you and your sibling that had a mean father and a nanny that just quit her job? Then you write a letter on how you want your new nanny and your father hates it. He wants the complete opposite. You want nice and he wants discipline. Although this is what happens in the story “Mary Poppins” by P.L. Travers this was still a great story.

            With all the many characters the main ones are Bert the chimney sweep, Mary Poppins the nanny, Michael the son, Jane the daughter, and Mr. Banks the father. Bert is a man that does a lot of things like be a one man marching band, a chimney sweep, and he draws pictures on the side walk. Michael and Jane do almost everything together like run away from the previous nanny. Mr. Banks is a very mean father that wants his children steered right. He wanted a mean and firm nanny that won’t quit from anything.  While there are all these characters the main one is Mary Poppins.

            Mary Poppins is a very magical person that can clean an area with the snap on her fingers.  All she has to do to clean the area is look at the messy part and snap he fingers and it cleans its self. She has a duffel bag that is a never ending pit. She has all she needs in it. She can jump into a picture and then she is part of the picture. The mode of literature is comedy.

            The mode is romance because the characteristics are good is strong and the good person in the story is Mary Poppins. Evil is laughable and weak, the evil person is Mr. Banks. The other evil people are the bankers that want nothing but people to put their money in the bank. Some of the symbolism are the story was in the spring, there is dogs, they were in the park, and there were doves. It fits on the plotline because it is a minor conflict that the first nanny leaves. And it is a life symbolism because Mary Poppins comes to help.

            That is how the story of “Mary Poppins” goes.  Mary Poppins is a classic tale of how families come together in the end. The children are running loose, with a father that only wants the best for them, but is going about it the strict way, and the kids are acting out. Mary gives the children what the father is asking of her, and at the same time letting the kids be kids.

Favorite Winter car/truck

My favorite winter truck is a GMC with mud tires because the mud tire sound funny. They are really big and the tread is far apart. In each separate section there is a hole to put some type of nut in to grip the ice better. My dad has a GMC and he was going to get the mud tire but he is getting the bullet proof tires.  

Favorite Cars

My favorite non-American car is an Audi(ow-d) R8. The first one was made within the years of 2000-2007. Italy still makes them. It is very fast, when it is stock it can reach speed of about 210 mph. But if it isn't stock it can go to speeds of 235-295 mph. The car is somewhat small. If it was in a race with a ford, the Audi would win. That is my favorite non-American car.

My favorite American car is the old Boss 302 Mustang. The Boss is somewhat large for a car but it is short and kind of long. All Boss's have a stripe down the side that say BOSS 302.(unless you get that painted off) The Boss is just old American muscle. It has a lot of power in the engine. And that is my Favorite American car.

A Day at the Bus Station

It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. He didn’t know what was waiting for him. He thought he was going to get a bus ride from Milwaukee to Pewaukee. When he walked in the station he noticed that everybody was lying on the ground. There were five guys that had AK-47’s and masks on. They were quite tall, about 6’ 10”. They had a bag that had ammunition, RPG’s, and C-4 in it. Two of the men were carrying three bodies into a back room. Everyone was silent. If they made a sound they would be shot. Tim (the man that walked into the bus station) knew he had to save them.
The five men thought that they would get a lot of money in a bus station. Tim thought that that was a stupid place to rob. The robbers were a little bit smart because the used silencers so when they shoot the alarm won’t go off. Tim didn’t know what to do so he ran out and tried to beat one of the guys up. He wasn’t very smart because he went for one that had an RPG. So when the robber got hit he turned around and shot his missile. The rocket blew up all the C-4 and the whole place detonated and everyone in and around the building was no longer living.

My Dad Shot a Nail Through His Finger

About two years ago my dad was nailing wood down with a nail gun. One of the shots was bad and he hit his finger. The nail was two and a half inches long and it was one and a half inches in his finger. The doctor had to pull it out with a pliers. It went through the bone and tendon. It went in crooked and the doctor pulled it out straight and it didn't tare his skin. The doctor brought in a tupper wear bowl of pliers and the doctor said that none of these were good and my dad said "Do you want me to go to my truck and get a pair." the doctor said that my dad probably has better pliers than they do. But they found a pair that would work. The nurse had to hold down his arm while the doctor pulled it out. When they got it out he said that it hurts now, can you put it bake in. But that was a joke. He shot the nail in a couple weeks before Christmas. So on Christmas he had a huge band aid and tape on his finger.

Favorite animal

My favorite animal is a Liger because it is not a common animal. People don't think that it is a real animal but it is. They became from a male tiger and a female tiger.

Favorite journal topic

My favorite journal topic is 3 facts and a fiction. I like that one because it is easy and fun. My second is the pyramid. in the pyramid you keep adding letters that start with the same letter. example- i, is, ill, and so on.

Music

There are a lot of kinds of music such as rap, hip/hop, rock, metal, r&b, and country. There are a lot of artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo,Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, AC/DC, Disturbed and much, much, much more. My favorite type is hip/hop. and my favorite artist is Eminem. My favorite song is You Don't Know, by Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Cashis.

Patriotism

Does Patriotism Still Matter?

                                         

Do you believe in Patriotism? Many people do and some don’t. I am one that does think patriotism matters. Although some people don’t care about patriotism I really believe in it.

Patriotism matters because if we didn’t fight for our country we wouldn’t be free. A lot of people live here for the freedom, jobs and an education for their children. It matters because we should all have love and devotion for our country.

            While patriotism can be shown in many ways, my uncle showed it by fighting in Vietnam. My uncle was in Vietnam and he was a helicopter gunner in a UH-1 Huey. The life expectancy was 48 hours. He was a gunner for two years. He got shot down two times; one was from a child that had a sling-shot and a rock. He saw the helicopter and he shot the rock at it, it hit the tail rotter and they spun out. The time was because they hit the landing pad too hard. That is another way patriotism matters.

            That is why patriotism still matters. Because of all the people that keep us safe. We should all have love and devotion for our country. If you don’t then you’re not a good patriot. Some people may not think patriotism matters, but it does to a lot of people all around the world.
